Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and CEO of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain inaugurated India’s largest plasterboard manufacturing plant today. Located in Jhagadia, Gujarat, this is India’s largest gypsum based plasterboard manufacturing facility till date with an annual capacity of 30 million square metres. Gyproc India has three existing plants in India located in the states of Haryana, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Thiru. Ma Subramanian, Hon’ble Health Minister of Tamil Nadu inaugurated Oxygen generation plant (to support 200 beds) and a 3D printed Doffing Unit at Omandurar Medical College and Hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He also virtually inaugurated the 3D printed doffing unit installed in Government Headquarters Hospital, Kanchipuram, and also virtually laid the foundation stone for the doffing unit coming up in Government Medical College and Hospital,Thiruvallur.

Saint-Gobain launched its premium Shower Cubicle range at exclusive functions in Bangalore and Cochin yesterday. The range will be manufactured at its purpose built highly automated & digitalized plant. The shower cubicle range is part of Saint-Gobain’s My Home suite of innovative solutions for homes. MyHome solutions cover multiple applications in homes and include services from design to installation.

To meet the growing demand of the glass markets – both domestic and international, Saint-Gobain inaugurated three world class facilities – a third float glass manufacturing plant, an advanced magnetron coater and glass solutions line and a 72 Mn capacity Rainwater harvesting reservoir, at the World Glass Complex, Sriperumbudur. Each of these facilities was dedicated to the nation by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Edappadi K. Palaniswami on January 28th 2019. Set up with an investment of over INR 1200 Crs, this takes the cumulative investment in the World Glass Complex, Sriperumbudur to more than INR 3000 Crs.
